Job Summary

The Niven Agency, Inc. is seeking a motivated and professional IE Associate Agent to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a team-oriented individual who takes pride in the company they represent, the products they sell, and the service they provide. The IE Associate Agent supports both sales and service operations by prospecting new business, assisting with clerical functions, and helping maintain strong relationships with our existing customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Prospect and solicit new business across multiple lines of insurance
• Quote, bind, and process insurance policies
• Handle customer inquiries, document requests, and complete policy changes
• Accept and process premium payments accurately and efficiently
• Provide outstanding customer service through clear communication across multiple platforms
• Demonstrate strong conflict resolution skills in a fast-paced environment
• Quickly learn and adapt to new computer programs, systems, and processes
• Support the agent and service center staff as needed
• Make sound decisions regarding applicant insurability and policy placement
• Ensure effective service center operations, including reports, documentation, and mail distribution

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• AL or GA Insurance Producer License in P&C, &/or Life & Health.  Or the ability to obtain an AL or GA Insurance Producer license within 90 days of hire
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office with an aptitude for learning new technology
• Strong teamwork skills with a positive and professional attitude
