Project Manager

The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating and implementing projects within the decided- upon budget, timeline and scope for different clients throughout the southeast for commercial construction projectsAlthough located in Columbus, Georgia, the project manager will have different project locations from all around the southeast.

The project manager will develop and maintain relationships with the owner, architect and designer, monitor and present project updates via weekly meetings, manage company cost reporting systemprovide accuratforecasting of cost and schedules and handle supervision of subcontractors to ensure contractual obligations are met to the satisfaction of the owner. He or she must have experience in the field and office to evaluate and meet expectations within a project.

Responsibilities:

  • Determine project timelinefrom pre-construction through closeout and provide continuous updates through weekly meetings.

  • Monitor project deliverables.

  • Update relevant stakeholders or team members on the progress of the project.

  • Coach and support project team members with tasks you have assigned.

  • Strong business acumen in planning and management of the project.

  • Strong verbal, written and organizational skills.

  • Assist with budgeting and alternativeto ensure best quality for owner's value.

  • Submit pay requests for every project; throughout the project.

    Essential Physical Functions:

    • This role requires a combination of sitting, walking, standing and driving.

    • Ability to climb stairs. Deadline-Oriented:

• Maintain professionalism when faced with aggressive deadlines and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

Detail-Oriented:

• Detail-oriented individual with the ability to focus on quality and accuracywhile planning, prioritizing and managing multiple tasks in an organized way.

Computer Skills:

• Proficient in commercial project software; experience with Procore, BlueBeam, iSqFt and Microsoft Project required.

Education/Experience:

  • Relevant commercial construction management experience, particularly in conceptual budgeting.

  • Extensive knowledge of industry practices, procedures and market trends.

  • Four-year degree in construction management and/or engineering, or years of experience preferred.
