The real estate market has undergone massive changes over the past 18 months. This course will assist business owners and managers in navigating the changes in the real estate market. Participants will learn key terminology and concepts for commercial leases and commercial loans, the advantages and disadvantages of leasing and buying will be presented. Finally, participants will be exposed to best practices in determining the optimal strategy to manage their businesses real estate assets.

- Commercial real estate purchase process & terminology
- Commercial real estate lending concepts
- Advantages of leases & purchases
- Challenges with leases & purchases
Learner Outcomes:
1) Participants will learn key terminology for commercial leases and also commercial mortgages
2) Participants will learn about and gain a better understanding of the steps involved in commercial leases and mortgages
3) Participants will be able to analyze and understand critical terms for leases or commercial mortgages
4) Participants will be able to better analyze and implement strategies for optimal management of real estate assets of their businesses.
5) Participants will be exposed to some of the major impacts and changes to the commercial real estate market resulting from the COVID Pandemic
