2025 Fire Truck Pull, Chili Challenge & Cake Silent Auction

Sound the alarm – the East Alabama Chamber’s Fire Truck Pull Fundraiser is back on Friday, October 24, 2025 at the Phenix Plaza/Whitewater Express Parking Lot on Whitewater Avenue!

This year, we’re turning up the heat and adding two brand-new events alongside the fan-favorite Fire Truck Pull:

🔥 Chamber Chili Challenge – Stir the pot, bring the spice, and compete for bragging rights in categories of Best Overall Chili and People’s Choice. Enter for $25 or buy tasting cups for $1 each. Each tasting cup comes with a ticket so you can vote on People's Choice. 

🍰 Cake/Pie Silent Auction – Local bakers are donating their best cakes or to be auctioned off. The baker whose cake raises the most dough will take home the Top Dessert Trophy!

🎉 NEW Award: Most Spirited Team – We’re asking all businesses and teams to bring the fun with decorated tents in either a tailgate theme or firehouse theme. Let’s see who brings the most energy, spirit, and creativity to the event grounds!

Of course, the highlight remains the Fire Truck Pull, where 10-person teams test their strength to see who can haul a fire engine the fastest. 💪🚒 We'll have friends grilling hotdogs for lunch for our teams, then you're welcome to add in the chili on your own! 

All proceeds benefit the East Alabama Chamber Foundation for the Young Leaders of East Alabama program. 

How to Get Involved:

• Register a Fire Truck Pull team ($250 per 10-person team)

• Enter the Chili Challenge ($25 entry fee)

• Donate a Cake for the Silent Auction
